Fondée en 1893, la cave Cantina Terlano est aujourd'hui l'une des principales coopératives de viticulteurs du Tyrol du Sud.
A blend of 60% Pinot Bianco, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2015 Alto Adige Terlano Classico is a delightful wine on all levels. It offers a fresh and clean approach with zesty tropical fruit, dried sage, preserved lemon and a touch of natural rubber at the back. Some 20% of the wine is aged in large oak casks. The quality of the bouquet is bright and splendid. The refreshing mouthfeel is capped by a playful hint of mint leaf. This historic white blend has been in production since 1893. I am happily impressed with the entire line of new releases offered by Cantina Terlano. (ML)
Flavors of fleshy white peach meld with citrus, melon and green apple in this blend of Pinot Blanc with 30 percent Chardonnay and ten percent Sauvignon Blanc. It’s vinified solely in stainless steel, giving a wine that feels sunny and lifted.
Sleek acidity frames this well-knit white. A streak of stony minerality underscores flavors of Honeycrisp apple, pink grapefruit granita and fresh ginger. Zesty finish. Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon. Drink now through 2020.
