Notes of spicy oak and dark earth here. This has a succulent, fresh feel with dark berries and plums and gently chewy tannins to close. Drink now.
«The 2017 Maucaillou is medium to deep garnet-purple in color and scented of cedar chest and yeast extract over cassis and blackberry pie at the core. The palate is medium-bodied with good mid-palate intensity and plenty of black fruit, supported by fine-grained tannins and great freshness.»
The 2017 Maucaillou is deep garnet-purple colored with oaky, earthy, vague plums and cassis notes with an herbal undercurrent. The palate has a good amount of cedar- and spice-laced black fruit with a plush texture and woody finish.
Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung, feine Cassisnuancen, schwarzes Waldbeerkonfit, floraler Touch, ein Hauch von Mandarinenzesten. Saftig, elegant, zarte Fruchtsüße, eingebaute Tannine, mittlere Länge, ausgewogen, ein unkomplizierter Speisenbegleiter.
