Château L’Eglise Clinet, certes peu médiatique de par sa production très confidentielle, est l'un des plus grands vins de l’appellation Pomerol.
Seemingly fully mature, this wine exhibits some amber at the edge to its dark garnet color. The nose exhibits dark fruit, earth, and underbrush, with hints of smoke, plum, cherry, and Provencal herbs. It is medium-bodied yet firmly tannic. It is certainly going to last for at least another 8-10 years, but I am not sure it has the relative charm or succulence of the top vintages
