Voisin du Château Mouton Rothschild, Château d'Armailhac, 5e Cru Classé, en est pourtant bien distinct, tant par ses vignes que par ses chais et son cuvier.
Quasiment opaque, la robe pourpre aux reflets violets de ce 2015 suggère un vin solide. Solide, et très bien équilibré, comme le démontre le bouquet où l'entente est parfaite entre les arômes fruités (prune, cassis) et la présence boisée. Après une attaque large et enveloppante, le palais s'harmonise autour de saveurs de fruits, d'une chair tendre et de tanins fins et délicats.
C'est une très belle réussite ! Couleur sombre, intense et belle. Nez pur, intense et fin. Bouche savoureuse au toucher raffiné avec un très bel éclat, du corps et une finale longue et suave. C'est incrachable.
This wine is definitely softening and taking on shape in the bottle. The juiciness is starting to appear and you can see why this is the most easily approachable of the Mouton stable when young. Really enjoyable, delicately shaped but with the Pauillac signature of menthol and slate. 2% Petit Verdot completes the blend.
Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Intensive schwarze Beerenfrucht, Nuancen von Brombeeren, Cassis und etwas Kirsche, ein Hauch von Holz und kandierten Orangenzesten. Mittlerer Körper, wirkt süffig und etwas weich, dezente Süße im Kern, bereits gut entwickelt und gut antrinkbar, etwas Nougat im Nachhall.
